I read around and from what i understood it was lost during the relocation?

i'd to clarify something about that spesific patch.
does anyone remember what it was exactly named? i mean, the file you downloaded?

(if it was named "Ubi-fix" then i have the file on my drive and can have it uploaded).
(not sure if it is the one though... it's a theory of mine because it fits the download history in my browser, and has that very fitting name).
or has the latest HSFX found a workaround for us that don't own the DVD?
if it would still be neccesary to have let me know and i'll fix it.

i know i know, but i run GOG's version, and my mates who tried to get it working, failed miserably

Since you have not the DVD, but you have the digital download version of IL-2 Sturmovik 1946, then this is what you need:


1) You start with IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 v4.08m, digital download version.

2) Next, you need the special patch for the digital download version which makes your IL-2 become ready to eventually receive mods. You install that patch at this point.

3) Next you install the 4.09 add-on patch.

4) Next you install the mod pack of your choice.
