First of all: YES that is E-3, and not E-4 as I wrote before, and I apologize for that, my bad.

Second: The diference between these two:

E-3 had different DB601Aa engine with weak high altitude performance, and stronger at low alt.
Visual diference: Some versions of E-3 had 3rd gun mounted in the nose, while E-4 did not.
E-3 had a round edge cocpit, unarmed windsheeld and had no armor plate behind the pilot...
