Is there a way to change which .mat an .eff uses without changing other relating effects? I would like to make one .eff that's based on the "WhiteSmoke" .mat into one which uses the "SmallDirt" .mat, but I don't want to change every other .effs that's based on the same "WhiteSmoke" .mat. So far I've just renamed .tga files to do this, but that won't work this time without changing a lot of other effects. Is this possible to do? Thanks.

I haven´t understood you very well but this is I know about .mat´s.

1 The .eff calls .mat.
2 the .mat called, calls .tga.

You can create new .mat as you like with also new .tga´s, copy it from an original one and rename it to use with the .eff you want.
