40 New Me-109 Skins of the JG-77
#1

Salute Pilots,
I haven't posted anything good for a while so here's my way of making up for it. I am giving all of the IL2 community these skins that I painted for a very good friend. These skins were done as historically correct as I could get them and each aircraft has its own paint scheme that's slightly different from the the others. Please enjoy these skins. They are the 7th,8th,9th Staffels of the III/ Red Hearts. These skins are to be used with no markings and Airforce none, In the game... Salute

You should have used one of those various public templates for making this big skinpack! I really appreciate the making of such large skinpacks but not in that comparatively poor quality. You did use blank or generic skins as a base instead of a template - it is obviously. The lines/rivets should be above the markings instead of beneath/under - like on your skins. You just added the markings and some simple camo alterings on them. If you make skins that way you have to draw the 'disapperared' lines and rivets afterwards above your new markings. The 'new' fuselage balkencrosses you added are not covering the original ones correctly. Sorry, but i was really disappointed when i opened the zip, what a great unit skinpack this could be - if you made them with a template!!! Cry

Then your doing it wrong

armin is right all your marking layers are above the lines and rivets.

It really seems that you didnt use a template at all but a blank skin, because your individual painting for each aircraft (a good thing btw) is painted over the lines and rivets not to mention the national markings are done the same.

If you used a template you would still see all of those.

its an easy fix sure enough its just a matter of taking the lines and rivets and putting them over each skin, but as I stated earlier, this was for a friend of mine. He had asked me to do it in this manner. If you want to change them and add lines go for it..... I am working on other things and dont have the time. For the most part pilots who enjoy them will use them, and for people who are picky then they will add the lines...I think they perfect they way the are....
