Just installed HSFX 5.0
Flew QMB to test it out.
Selected F4U-1, turned markings on, defaultl skin
picture shows white star on blue circle background.
hit fly
look out of cockpit and stars on wings have red dots in the center like pre coral sea.
Only mods enabled: history, 6dof, hakencruz enabler and carrier take off
any suggestions on fixing this? Early F4U-1(debut February 1943) had 6 position white stars on blue circle and no red dot.

That is an issue with 4.10.1. I have the 1956 Jet Age Pack installed from SAS and my Sabres have the same problem. It depends on the year of the map is what I was told. If it is an early war map then you get early war markings. Don't know why DT did it that way, but so far I don't know of any fix.

This only occurs only on the Solomons Oct 43 map and only to the F4U-1, Corsair MkI, Corsair MkII and Corsair MkIV in the QMB. This does not occur with the F4U-1A, F4U-1C & F4U-1D on this map. This does not occur with these planes on other maps like Pacific Islands and Coral Sea Online 1. This did not happen with the Hellcats or Wildcats.
I checked it out in the FMB and the problem with the wrong US markings occurs with the F4U-1, Corsair MkI, Corsair MkII and Corsair MkIV on all of the Solomons maps except Solomons Jan 44 in both the stock 4.10.1 (no F4U-1) and the HSFX version of the game.

This occurs with every aircraft that does not have a default skin, and it also happens on the Slovakia winter map.
And if you have a recording saved, the roundels in the recording are the originals.

I brought it up at 1C web site. Best I could get out of there is that maybe it would take them to change the default skin, but no commitment made by them to do it.
