FMB issue. objects in mission does not show up when hosting.

hi guys!

What ive done is a basic setting where i have 2 airports with activity, such as moving troops and moving cars, the cars are under vehicles and the troops goes under infantry

If i jump in a plane and play the scenario through the FMB they all show up fine when flying, but if i try to host a game and use the mission, none of those 2 objects apear.
What have i done wrong? they have all showed up before, the only thing i remember i could have done was adding a "test runway 4" and placing a Homebase over it
but it's deleted and it doesn't matter what i do they just wont show up.

All the timing is corect, condition time matches the time when the objects should appear. i unno. im lost!

btw, new to this place, new to the game -i have UP 2.01 installed and no matter what version game i try the mission still acts the same.

Welcome to the website. Smile We have many things relating to IL-2, so I hope that you enjoy it.

All people in the mission must have exactly the same version of IL-2, including any and all updates.

Another possibility is that the objects were aquired as mods or different version of IL-2 and run in a mission but your the server function does not recognized them (not compatible). A case like this would be a mod added which gives you the troops and cars but your server version of a mod pack does not recognize them ( not supported in that server version ).


Could this be because of a bug in a mod or a corrupt file? I suppose, but unlikely.


What version of IL-2 and what mods are you using?

Hi fellas!!

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I think i have figured out what the problem is - note, this problem occurs without any other people joining my game, and the mission was created in basic 4.09.

after loads and loads of reading i finally figured it out, in a hosted dogfight there cant be any AI with waypoints. so basicaly every object that had waypoints wouldn't
appear at all. all the static objects show up fine!

the sollution to this was to activate the zuti DSM mod - go ingame, create a new server, choose dogfight, load my mission, pick a homebase and WOLA - there they were!
cars running around and troops marching around the area, trucks goin from point A to point B and so on. Makes for a great atmosphere when starting from the ground.

So i managed to figure it out on my own but still i wanna thank yall for a quick respons and a warm welcome =)
