I am currently attempting to resolve a technical issue elsewhere in the game which is leading to my having to reinstall a number of times. As such, I am losing my control preferences which I will grow weary of having to reset every time. Are these changes stored somewhere in one of the IL2 files like the config.ini? If so, where?

In the IL2 root directory, you will find a folder called "users". Inside that folder will be a folder named "0". In that folder you will find what your looking for........ settings.ini Good luck, and I hope this helps.

Back -up your conf.ini plus the user file.

Then just copy and paste into your new install.
Stick and control settings are good to go.
