PKs are important for a WWI air combat sim because the pilot had little protection and a huge percentage of kills in the actual war were from wounded or killed pilots. After all their heads were sticking way up and even though most of the lower body was covered up, there was little there to stop bullets. So of course this is a good question to ask in here!!!

Yes pilot kills are in game already and the pilot goes through 3 phases that effects flight model and vision till he is dead then the user louses control of the plane and the plane just meanders downward till it hits ground then the ( you are dead ) message comes up and you can go back to your start point and be in a good plane again when you spon there.
