Bit of a guess on my part. I pulled the file naming protocol from the skins file folders for each aircraft. I tried renaming the reticle files for use in the Tempest using the same naming convention and it worked. I just renamed the 3 files as indicated below...

3DO/Cockpit/TempestMkV/Reticle.tga
3DO/Cockpit/TempestMkV/Reticle2.tga
3DO/Cockpit/TempestMkV/Reticle.mat

... created a "TempestMkV" folder in Files\3do\Cockpit and now I have the reticle in the Tempest. I'll try the same with a Hurricane and see if it works as well. I think it should as the file naming conventions appear to be consistent.

yeh i know that tempest works.. but for example mossie dont.. neider does hurricane..

Yep... just tested a Hurrie and it didn't work. Hmmmm.... fairly strange. One would think that it would follow the same naming logic. :roll:
Must be a slightly different file naming for the reticle file itself for the Mossie and Hurrie. I'll sniff around and see what I can find. Anyone out there able to give us a clue on this one?
