I finished the CRIMEA "relooked like the reality".
It 's very very long and tiring to find all the textures and make a catalog to reassign them ... I modify all textures in the map. it's difficult to get consistent visual. But now for me, with this file, the Crimea seems to reality with plenty of rocks !!! Tongue It is a combination of Italy, Kurland, Burma's ... textures (and others ) !

Its my new Crimea now, thanks a lot!! I'm very happy because Crimea is one of my favourite maps and also a QMB map which I use for testing skins....

Could you do something about the boring appearance of the Smolensk map? Some brown "Kurland" fields would add a lot of immersion.

One thing to note, one of the airfields near Sevastapol has a town texture on it.

There's a file all.ini in the maps folder looking like

in it.

Renamed your load.ini to wload.ini (whatever name just to be different from the original and correspond to the one in the all.ini)

Added maps/all.ini in the filelist.txt.
Added maps/Norway/wload.ini

i found the same thing:

Kuban-desert (or any desired map) instead of online9a in game:

1. create folder empty1a inside files\maps\
2. past all extracted map files of desired map from its folder- for example Kuban
3. in filelist add paths for all that files
4.edit load.ini as you like
5.open maps_ru.properties ( files\i18n\) and change name of empty1a to desired name for example Kuban-desert

Now within the game you won't have online9a( which is empty useless map) anymore but you will have Kuban-desert instead .

Funny if we got the same idea at the same time m8 ....

Now i only need all map files for new maps such is Italy,Norway....

About the anomaly around the concrete airfield:
replace
AirField0=
with
AirField0= land/summer/airfieldGr.tga or any other texture you think it fits in the landscape.

About the disappearance of the river I don't know, this is weird!

a note, that may or may not apply or be of use in map modding (or is a given to anyone but the most comp un-savvy like myself);

i made a complete map, and later, after uninstalling some flyables, i went back into FMB and copied the map, and ran it online

B 17G, for example, was not in set anymore...AI for me, as i uninstalled b17g for test...the other player couldnt select it either, wasnt on ac list, but he had b17g mod

there ya go
