This "war" texture for airport is very original !!! This texture shows an airport with emergency landing zone, or somes trenches, or construction zone !

Some map are joined :
Crimea & Kuban : so i will modifiy Kuban like Crimea !
Smolensk and Moscou maps are joined too, so i will modify Moscou like Smolensk when i will finished Smolensk...

TO ALL THE MAPMODDERS ,; mayby its a bit too forward to say but havin said that this is, next to the soundmod , my favourite mods I also believe these mods are going to have a lot of impact to the il community...its gonna be HUGHE!,

now there is a danger that could lead to confusion....havin to choose from 10 or even more different Kuban/guadalcanal/iwo ectr....and whatever map mod, ...so mayby somehowe its a good thing to anticipate working as a team , sure I notice you already are doin that, but in the end when maps are offered as a genuine download it would be wise to agree on one iwo/kuban/guadalcanal ectr..map,

I mean can you imagine youre doin a coop and you are warned, ,..watch ur six bogey left of the harbour/moumtain..and you say; ...what the f**k are you talkin about, there is no town/harbour ?!!!...and... next you hit the ground. hi hi sure i'm dramatising , sry, but its a thought that came into my mind and hope it will sorte itself out in future, for the rest keep up the good work, ...the progess is thrilling!!

I tested Crimea and its is so much better now, like a new map Smile

There is no need for that anymore!!!!!!

Thanks to Lowfighter we can now expand map list so you can have Norway , Norway_fly_zo ...Norway_xxx ... all listed and accessible separably in FMB and game.

this is huge breakthrough by Lowfighter and no one have noticed it!!!!!!

Fly_zo has it right. It is chaps like him and lowfighter who will give this sim a whole new lease of life.

I will only modify the old maps (Crimea, Kuban, Smolensk, Moscow ...).
I won't modify the maps created by players community. It will be for my personal use and for my squad only. As we play in closed circle (english ?), there is no problem for on-line. Each player of my squad will download my modifications.

I tested Crimea when online. No problems whatsoever. If it is just the textures that are different, there will be no incompatibility. Changes to mesh would be a different story....

Yes, that's a problem, and nice miker brought it. I don't know what the easy solution is.

I'm taking a "map modding vacation" now, my poor brain usually working at 10% throttle was working this period at full power... so I'll give it a break lol.

I am trying to modify Moscou summer like New Smolensk. But I have a problem.
I don't find the name of folder and load.ini for this map (Moscou 2 in game).

For me, it should be:
Moscow/sload.ini
But it doesn't operate ....

Someone could help me to find the good name of folder and load.ini for Moscou 2 (summer) ?

folder name is Moscow ( or you're trying to add it as new map?)
lets start with basic questions:

did you add maps/moscow/sload.ini to the filelist ? ( if you did ...check spelling)
also in files\maps check folder name for moscow and for your file

Nice!

Btw; Do you know how to substitute a darker colour underneath the forests? One thing I really like about the Burma map is the extra depth you get from the simulated shadow of the forest canopy.
