The Reskinning Cockpits Thread
#31

uf_josse Wrote:Extra good find  have you found IAR cockpit textures ? i like this bird but is pit is really blurry......... i woul'd to reskin it

This was the first thing that went through my mind when i first saw this tread.
The IAR-80/81 pit could really use a facelift.
After a bit of digging i found the textures and changed few of them just to test it. Is actually not that hard once you have all the textures open. If i'll find some time i'll try to play with this a bit more.

I remember I saw somwhere (at simHQ, netwings, UBI german forum), about a year ago, a big galery of gauges textures from the game. I think they were posted by the person that made some cockpits for the game. BF-110, he 162, or some other german plane.

I'm not home right now and i couldn't find them anymore from the laptop. Does anyone know where those textures were posted?
It would help a lot of people doing pit repaints and really speed up the proces. Big Grin

OpenGL for "Perfect " water (conf.ini is Water=2 in my setup) check "Coasties" posts at Ubi forum for Catalyst settings.

I think there are some nice gauge textures in this thread :http://forums.ubi.com/eve/forums/a/tpc/f...2511087684 they may need just small changes to be usable. [/u]

Maybe later. Now, because I am making film, I have no time for other planes. Only opening al textures and making theese instruments took 3 hours of my time. I still havenť finished all of the skins I need for film. It

Having a wee problem with the saving of the TGA's. Some of them need to have areas of transparency, which I make sure are there in the photoshop 7 version I create. When I save the file as a TGA, those clear areas become white. Grrr! What am I doing wrong? I have the bottom layer listed as Layer0, not background. Can't figure out what the prob is. I know it is something due to me, because even when I save-as a clear tga without altering it, the same thing happens Sad
