Since we're on the topic of italian fighters, here's an idea for you: Merge the nose of an Me-109 with the rear fuselage and cockpit of a Mc-205, and you have a rather convincing Fiat G 55! 8)
The Macchi is very similar to the Fiat apart from the nose. So I reckon you should give this a go.

Better add the engine of the 109 to the Macchi cockpit, to the Fiat G 50. More correct for a G55

Slight problem u see lerche's in CR32's and that can get a bit confusing because u see CR32's taking off vertically that's why the FM u use u replace that plane!!
