Ok guys...I'm gettin' nerveous...We got so much "allied mods" and they are 3 times more than the axis mods.For example the planes...Almost all allied planes are now available to fly.BUT how many of the axis planes / mostly the german/ are made flyable?!We don't have the He-111 Zuilling,we don't have the Me-323...and maaaany others.
The other think is,the biggest thing that i consider as a cheat is the new Ace Maker gunsight for the Spit..After how much time it was released as a mod after the request?! 3~4 days maybe???
And now for the new Askania EZ 42/1-A1 German gunsight..The moderators want so much prooves to make it available in the game.
The other thing is the 109 BackView mirror...so many prooves,and they don't want to add it,cos of the "vibrations",caused his removing by the pilots in reallity.The same was with the P-51's.They had a mirror,but it was removed in RL cos of the eng.vibrations...BUT now we have a P-51 /for all series/ mirror in the game.AND We don't have a 109 mirror.They don't want to add it just for the early series...

So in few words i'll simply ask you...On which side you are moderators?!
Are you as Oleg against the germans /mainly/?!He made the ingame german planes invalids..

I see that you'll add some fire extiguishers for the B-17,B-29,B-24.....
What about to add them to the He-111 and Ju-88 too?!

I wrote all this,cos i'm a blue pilot.And in my opinion i was let down by the moderators.
Yes,they added very cool sounds.Specially for the 109 and 190.And i wonna say one big thanks to them.BUT now we have so allied things added to the game,and so little axis things added...
They made the Ace Maker...without asking prooves.Now they want so many info was the Askania EZ 42/1-A1 really used in the war.
They added the mirror for the most allied planes...now they won't do the same for the german planes...

I hope that the moderators are not German haters /like Oleg/.And i hope that after this poll,many mod's for the blue's will be made...
All i use now from these modding is the sound mod,and the new Revi...I simply don't have other choise.When i fly i can't use the other mods...They are useless for me,cos i fly the blue stuff.

Hmmm yes, i'm blue. But i have doubt what ju-88 and he-111 realy have extiguishers. I don't see problem add it for AI plane....but for standart flyables it's not good idea....

The B-17,B-24 and even the B-29,didn't had an extinguisher.If they caught fire in the engines,they simply cut the fuel to the engine!For the B-17 i know,that the manual Fuel Switches were 4x/one for each engine!/ and can be found in the radio oparator room,which is after the pilots cockpit!

You can get a flat hood canopy for yours 190A-8, A-9, D-9 and D9 late here:

The later blown hood canopy provided more rear visibility in RL, but in this game is worst than the flat canopy. hock:
This is a beta but I sent it to mr Jolly one week ago and if everything is all right, it will be in downloads section. 8)

To be honest, even if they had modded every bit of German and Japanese kit first, it just wouldn't have crossed my mind to even suggest they might be biased.. I'd have just been chuffed that they had even accomplished that!.... I dunno..

wow, man are you wrong.

Example; this is from page 52 of the b-17 operating manual

"W. If the fire is not smothered by closing the cowlflaps, close fuel shut-off valve (figure 39-3), stop booster pump, and direct copilot to pull fire extinguisher, both charges if necessary."


the b-24's are also on the copilots side

page 31 and 33 of b-29 pilots manual has fire extinguisher description and usage

Version 1 of the mod was posted on Mon Dec 03, 2007 7:56 pm, that's 3weeks and 3 days between the two! or 24 days versus your estimated 3 or 4!

viewtopic.php?t=979 The said mirror was released on Sat Dec 01, 2007 6:43 pm. That's 3 weeks and 4 days after I made the request, which had photographic proof. Maybe like me, you too can see a pattern of 3 weeks and a few days emerging here for some of these mod requests to be realised.
It shouldn't be a surprise, after all the dedicated guys that are making them do so with their own time and effort for free and under a hailstorm of abuse from some people!

With all that in mind the first mention of 109 mirrors, with proof, was on Mon Dec 03, 2007 12:43 pm and the first mention of the German gyro gunsight was Tue Dec 04, 2007 8:23 pm.
