Hello again, how do I extract a playback vid so I can edit it and post it on U Tube or somthing
You are talking about the Trk or NTrk files i suppose...the system of tracks...
they are not video files and cannot be extracted
they are a copy of the mission file which you just played...and have made a record of all the movements of different planes and your own stick....so when you play a track...it re-runs the mission...but using those recorded movements
to make a movie from a track........ use FRAPS...which is a capture program.....replay your track...selecting views....and recording it with FRAPS....with or without sound
then you will have a HUGE file...which must be compiled in 'Virtualdub' a free program...and made into a video format
go to the Movie makers forum at Ubi il2 forums...plenty of good advice and help there
Thanks VP, ill get on it...
the free version of fraps leaves a watermark....
there is another of similar type called.....guncam ...or something similar...I think that one is free.....google it
I have problems with the JAVA version of guncam. It seemed to not close a file occasionally, which was bad because my disk would come up as having a "problem". diskcheck fixed everything, but I stopped using it.
Fraps workin fine for me ....Tempest sound mod at U tube.......com....... or whatever.......
