I've installed them on my modded il2: no problem
Notice any improvements Luke ?
.. I installed ...and swapped after a moment.. ghost ships and weird coastal profiles in foggy/low sun condition, may be problem of rendering in my pci card.. don't know but.. 8)
Working fine for me so far... but performance seems to vary from rig to rig.
Performace appeared a little bit better when I first installed the new dll's, but it might well be a placebo effect.
OH. Maybe that's the problem!
I noticed that I have objects totally visible in hazy/foggy weather on the two side monitors of my three-monitor setup (they look regular in the middle monitor). I hadn't realized that the problem might be caused by the new dll's. I'm gonna switch back to thr regular .dll's and see how it goes- I'll post the results here when I'm done.
No difference.
No matter what dll's are used, the two side montirs always show objects fully visible, even in fog/haze.
I tried with the regular dll's that came with 4.09b, with the new ones from M4T, and also with Oleg's dll's for nVidia 8800 (I have 7950GT), Fully visible objects with all dll's.
I switched back to 4.08m and the objects looked as they're supposed to,
To swicth back and forth between 408/409 I use the 'version switched' available here at AAA.
So, besides not being a big problem, the 'too visible objects' bug shows up (on side monitors only) using 4.09 with any dll's and not in 4.08 (any dll).
