All-in-One...my mods

yes...I never thought of that...cloning and raising the sandbags is just the same as I did with the oil drums..

[buildings.House$FurnitureSandbag_Wall2]
Title Sandbag_Wall2
MeshLive 3do/Buildings/Furniture/Sandbag_Wall/live.sim
MeshDead
AddHeightLive 1.0
AlignToLand 0
Body RockMiddle
Panzer 0.60

[buildings.House$FurnitureSandbags_Round2]
Title Sandbags_Round2
MeshLive 3do/Buildings/Furniture/Sandbags_Round/live.sim
MeshDead
AddHeightLive 1.0
AlignToLand 0
Body RockMiddle
Panzer 0.60

just a quick example...I added the AddHeightLive 1.0 to add the 1 meter height...but that needs checking to see if it is OK....and didn't put a MeshDead...so that it just disappears when destroyed....but the bottom default one will remain in its damaged state

try it and see

I just got a new computer a couple of months ago....

core Duo E6850 3.0ghz (not overclocked....yet)

8800 GTS 320mb.

2gb RAM

XP pro 32

it was touch and go with all that smoke......that was before I tried putting the 20mm/25mm Zentlika files into a New Folder to disable them Big Grin

http://www.4shared.com/account/dir/4397 ... sions.html

its there......maskingnetmods.rar

this is for those who have already installed my All-in-one "ffb_mods"

go to your MODS folder...open folder "craters/3do/Buildings....add the new Furniture folder...to be in there beside the Airdrome folder

then open the Airdrome folder....and copy the two new tga files into both Maskingnet_4m and Maskingnet_6m folders...replacing the old ones when asked

Now go to your Static_ini folder in the MODS folder....open the static.ini file with Windows Notepad.....

and add these lines at the bottom.....

[buildings.House$FurnitureSandbag_Wall2]
Title Sandbag_Wall2
MeshLive 3do/Buildings/Furniture/Sandbag_Wall2/live.sim
MeshDead
AddHeightLive 0.6
AlignToLand 0
Body RockMiddle
Panzer 0.60

[buildings.House$FurnitureSandbags_Round2]
Title Sandbags_Round2
MeshLive 3do/Buildings/Furniture/Sandbags_Round2/live.sim
MeshDead
AddHeightLive 0.6
AlignToLand 0
Body RockMiddle
Panzer 0.60

when you open the FMB and look in the Objects menu....all these new modded Objects will be at the end of the list

Thanks a lot for your great work Fabian Fred.

By the way, I modified the file static.ini as per your instructions, and I noticed the following lines:

[buildings.Plate$Concrete2Connect]
Title Connect2
Mesh 3do/airfield/Concrete2/Connect/mono.sim

[buildings.Plate$Concrete2Hangar]
Title Hangar2
Mesh 3do/airfield/Concrete2/Hangar/mono.sim

[buildings.Plate$Concrete2Runway]
Title Runway2
Mesh 3do/airfield/Concrete2/Runway/mono.sim

[buildings.Plate$Concrete2RunwayEnd]
Title RunwayEnd2
Mesh 3do/airfield/Concrete2/RunwayEnd/mono.sim

[buildings.Plate$Concrete2Taxi]
Title Taxi2
Mesh 3do/airfield/Concrete2/Taxi/mono.sim

[buildings.Plate$Concrete2Turn]
Title Turn2
Mesh 3do/airfield/Concrete2/Turn/mono.sim

Are these related to default files within the .SFS, or to your modded airfield plate? In the airfield plate mod, I noticed 3do/airfield/concrete/xxx folders, but no concrete2 folders?

Sorry to bother you, but I just got puzzled by this "Concrete2".

Thanks in advance for your reply,

Vince

Those concrete plate files I put there for those who are using the map-makers FMB.....if they want to make my darker coloured plates as a seperate new one...all they need to do is re-name their concrete folder to ...concrete2...and then the default ones will be the original colour

the only trouble is that if they mix the original and new ones in a map...they need to include all that stuff in the map pack

you can safely ignore it if you are happy with either of the two new coloured plates for ALL your maps

Hi all,

Say FabianFred, I've been playing around with your tweeks for a couple of days now and I can't seen to figure out how to increase the time that destroyed objects burn and smoke. Is the parameter I need to change in the .eff files, and if so which parameter is it?

I've been able to make your ship convoy appear in the ships list in FMB, and it shows up on the map and I can assign it waypoints, but when I go to play the mission it gives me a loading error. Has anyone discovered the trick to getting ship convoys to load. I've looked around but couldn't find anything about it.

I have, however, been able to create my own vehicle columns! Big Grin Nothing like seeing an entire armored battalion with support vehicles on the move. All the work the modders have been doing on this site is awesome. I can't believe how fast some of these really great mods are being cranked out. Thanks to FabianFred and all the rest. ~S
