I've been flying Hurricanes, Spitfires and other assorted allied a/c for a while now, as well as a few of the 109 variants.
Today, I thought , heck, I've been ignoring some of the other planes, let's give some of them a spin again. First on my list was the I-16. In QMB, I loaded the first variant, Type 18. Once the mission loaded, I was facing that 'horizon' screen - the one you get if you don't assign an aircraft to the player.....same with the Type 24....????
The only one that works is the Type 24 SPB. SInce I haven't flown these guys in a while, it could probably be any of +-50 mods that I've installed that could be the cause.
Just thought I'd put this out here, to see if anyone else has a similar issue?
Any known fix?
A little voice in the back of my head (Damn, gotta listen to 'em :lol: ) tells me I might have read a post about something like this, a while back. I've found nothing on the forums, maybe I didn't look hard enough....
Anyone else missing their I-16's?
I have the new wrapper with 409b1m, as wll as the old files folder...

Ahhh, ok, thanx, renmik, I just had a look at the TigerMoth thread, and I am busy uninstalling the old version, and d/l'ing the new 1.3 version. Thanks for the help, there, mate!

It depends on the TIGERMOTH Cockpit,

AFAIK its captured from I-16 (Ranwers has remodeled it)... and with active TIGERMOTH
you can't get in Cockpit of I-16

If you disable TIGERMOTH Mod with MINUS in MODS - Folder (i.e. MODS/-TIGERMOTH)
you have Standard U-2VS ingame, but you can use I-16 again.

It's a two-bladed sword.

Thanks ranwers, I took the trouble to read past the first page of the TigerMoth thread and found the problem. Busy downloading the new 1.3 version as we speak....
OK, its done and FIXED!!!
I saw a few guys with the same problem in the TigerMoth thread:
RAF_Magpie, if you still have this problem - you need to uninstall the 1.2 version of the TigerMoth - it came with an uninstaller - then install the new 1.3 version, and all should work fine.
If you don't have the uninstaller, PM me and I'll send it to you...

Yesterday, I have downloaded Tiger Moth Mod V1.3 from Download Section.

Before I installed it in ../MODS/TIGERMOTH I deleted the older V1.2 Folder completly.

If TIGER MOTH Mod is active, I can't get in I-16 Cockpit (Type 18 and 24 tested).
If I deactivate it ../MODS/-TIGERMOTH, I-16 is ok again.

Did I something wrong?

Hmm... I think that You must search next files in MODS folder

and delete him (without files in new TIGERMOTH folder)

renmik, using the uninstaller for ver 1.2 did the trick for me.....i see the uninstaller isn't in the thread anymore.....if you don't come right with ver 1.3, I can mail you the uninstaller for ver 1.2. Just let me know, mate!
