Is it possible to put a camera with bombs or rockets, so you can follow your bomb down.
yes that would be cool. You can do it in a lot of sims. Lomac springs to mind!
Yeah that would be cool for movies.
i can see that this would be a good idea, a Bomb/Missile View, However this will lead to it being used as a cheat. How? the X-4 missile, it can already be guided from 5 miles away without visual on enemy.
Not excatly wolf. The actual live time of the rocket will apply to the time you have a 3rd person view of the rocket.
Stock live time.
Sounds good to me. But im up for historicaly Acurate mods, a 3rd or 1st person view over the x4 would be kinda stupid, not many people have any aircraft on there servers that carrier it any way.
As for a Cam on a Bomb.. that I would be up for, there can be no cheating for that, and its good for people who make movies
View on bombs if it could done would be very nice, but why not view on rockets? I know that the x-4 could be used as a cheat with that, but couldn't you simply exclude the X-4 from views on rockets?
And i would also like very much a view on shells, i know that would mean very much switching around, but maybe even a solution to that could be found. Maybe only view on the first 15 shells of a burst or so.
Would be an awesome mod, and since Kegetys demonstrated in a video that he was able to place many static cameras on his I-153, view on weapons would hopefully be possible.
Oh and i would be for added static cameras on planes. Don't have to be much, but maybe views over the weapons or gungam view added in the wing.
Just some suggestions, which i hope someone takes to heart. 8)
i dont support the cam on rockets because they can be used as an aiming aid, though making your shots more accurate
Cam on bombs would be a great thing, on rockets im not so sure
I don't see any 'advantage' to having cam on the rockets.... maybe not the x-4, but it would be great for regular AP/HVAR/Tiny Tim's. etc....
Just like on a bomb, it wouldn't be a cheat...
ok, look, if you have a cam on NORMAL rockets, then since you aim downwards, you will crash :?
You don't have to switch to the weapons view directly after firing it, of course.
It would rather be a nice option when reviewing tracks, to discern how and where your and other's bombs fell and to discern the path of your rockets.
