This is totally Spud's idea, but it is briliant.

Can we add a new tank, but give it the visual model of troops? Maybe we can attach a .50 cal gun to each troop. I think it is now possible for us to have a column of troops marching down a road now. I think this should not be all that difficult and the rewards would be increadible. I am in the middle of other things, but I think someone should give this idea a try.

The idea was really to create a group of troops that would function as far as the game is concerned as a "tank."

Ideally, a couple types. One in marching order, and another in a skirmish line of sorts.

Since things like DCG track "tanks," you could then have troops moving. The speed for them would be set quite low. Then they'd advance and succeed or not based on combat conditions. They might have a single .30 cal MG per group. They'd be hard to kill, too.
