Just wondering.

I have them installed with 4.08, but can make another folder and update it to 4.09. Will the mods work with version 4.09 yet?

Yes, they do for me and apparently many others. There's a mod for 409beta, and a mod for switcher that lets you change between 408 & 409 & 408 mod version & 409 mod version.
