Quote:Hi.Little edit for my previus post , all 3 new aircrafts Bf-109F1 Bf109K14 and Typhoon are for 4.05 but 4.08 work same way, if anyone join to server with new plane, and rest of players dont use same mod including server,he is invisible to them.Pressing S key you will see only : ping, nickname and number, game dont show a color and type of plane he use.

so in this case only use these aircraft in private passworded servers / private servers

i was wondering about that, if people dont have the mod, then the new planes are, well, worthless

Worthless to whom is up for debate as I always thought that the mods were primarily aimed at offliners.

Since I fly offline, sounds great to me. Bring it on.

I'm a born-again offliner too. An "Offline Installation Only" mod would be fine I reckon. Online players would just have to use some common sense in deactivating it before they log on to a server.

well of course they are worthless if you havnt installed them lol

but NO they are not worthless ...far from it

its simple -

ONLINE:
you can play with these new aircraft online if you want to - but all players must have the new AC installed. so passworded / private only servers in this case. I can see much fun to be had here with Co-Op games. We've tested them online & they work just fine !

OFFLINE:
super simple ! lol they work no problems

I have to be honest, i was unsure that i could manage to write the spitfire mk1 class file to work as a new aircraft slot but really Sjack is the guy we should be thanking as he was the one who wrote the typhoon new slot. I have simply copied his system & implemented it into the spit mk1 class file, & i dont see any reason why we cant use his method to do all the new aircraft slots Smile

yeh i think its really important to give credit where its due
tell you what though, this Sjack is either super inteligent , either a top java coder or he simply works for 1c because his code is like nothing ive seen before within any of the other AC class files !

This is so awesome though because it finally lifts all the pressure of people wanting new stuff - we simply add it instead of messing with whats there allready Smile

If he does work for 1C, any chance he could help us out with the 3D converter?

Thank you Sjack,

You have opened a locked door and made things possible for the future of this game. You & all others working on the improvement of this wonderfull sim are simply 'heroes', so a great big thanks from all of us

Please, like Mr Jolly said you seem to have a great knowledge in this complex world off codings, so if you could provide any assistance at all on helping into getting a few 'new' aircraft airborne, we would be extremely gratefull!

Any assistance will be appreciated

Thanks again m8

This is really great news! Big Grin

So, finally, what I always somewhat thought to be the only disadvantage of Il2 series compared with other simulators seems to be possible to be fixed!

Great, great, news! Thanks a lot!!

Now, if somesome should provide an easy way to design 3d models for Il2, I am sure, that several guys will start making new aircraft and stuff. Look at the CFS1/2/3 community: there are people that have loads of 3d models they would start to brush up and convert to il2 if once possible.

Espacially the game is still lacking French, some Italian and Polish aircraft. I'm really looking forward to fly a LeO-45 or Dewoitine 520 over Belgium, guys!

But for this case it will be now - for the sake of standartization - very important, as already said, to develop a way to systemize the "incoming" new models.

What about sorting according to the country the plane was produced in?

So, you would have a British mod, French mod, Polish mod, Italian mod etc.
