I have noticed in game that when you fire the X-4 missile there are no flames exiting the exhaust. Is this like it was in history or is it just not included in game?

Either way, it SEEMS to be an easy mod to have the X-4 flame out the back like a true Air to Air missile. What do you guys think of this?

Hmmm, I swear in my version there are actually flames out the back.... I'll try and get a screenshot next time I'm in game.

Thats not fair. Is anyone else have this problem? Or is it just me then? Becasue mine has no flames. :x All I have is just smoke, but no flames.

i think it is because you dont have the flame mod in WIP section

This mod you linked Fisneaky is a flame for engine startup, not missile fire. I honstly don't want flames on my engines at startup, not very realistic. I just want the flame on the missile.

And the X-4 is the ONLY rocket/missile that has no fire trail.

I've seen huge flames emitted from WWII aircraft on start-up.. Pretty realistic to me!

Does that guys mod do the flames for EVERY startup or random startups?

I've seen it at airshows.. I've seen it on WWII news reels. So you can't say it never happened or its not realistic, because its pretty much fact..
Whether you choose to download and use the mod or not is purely choice of course, but its a bit random to say something is not realistic when in fact it is..
