Blood Mod?
#1

You know how in German Aircraft, how you can have Blood in the cockpit and such. or that you can see from the outside at least...

I always wondered why that wouldn't work for american aircraft.

Anywone interested in figureing that out... I can provide Screen shots of the blood effect I speak about in German aircraft if needed.

Its not just german aircraft Dixie, but more over the original aircraft of the sim - to the most part. Ie the U2...

Its just how it was done.

Personally though, I like the idea of it being through ALL the aircraft... and perhaps being a slightly darger shade of red too Wink

I think as magpie is saying it was only done for the orginal aircraft that this game came with at a certain version, since then they haven't done the gore effect on the new aircraft or they just forgot...

Ok guys, we've established how to turn it on and that it's limited to the original il2 planes (you gys only had to say it like ten times already, lol), what the OP is asking is can anyone make a mod so ALL planes do this? No more posts about which planes do this and which don't, can anyone mod this to work on all planes?!

 I dont believe you understood what I was saying. I was stating it wasnt limited to one nationality. NOR did ANYONE here state what planes had it - which didnt... And yes, the original post requested a mod that makes this a generic feature. I seconded that concept.

On that note; this may be more of a task than it would appear on the face of it...

I agree with that; as cool as it may be to have this, if you look at all the of the images above that show it being used it is clearly done individually for each aircraft i.e. it's not generic.

If it could be "switched on" for all aircraft then someone would have to actually paint the effect for each aircraft type.

Thats what I was kinda thinking when I saw the 109 Damage tga. But yes someone would have to make a TGA Layer for each Aircraft.

I don't think this would be as hard as it seems, just need a modder with the know how Smile
