Hi,
here is a link for ShipPack 1.0. This pack brings 30 new ships in Il2. Seven of these ships are available as stationary ships only, others are available as stationary and movable ships.

INSTALLING INSTRUCTIONS:

Unpack ShipPack into your Mod folder. Start the game and you will have new ships.

All skins are made by Archie1971, without him there wouldn't be this mod, his passion and enthusiasm made all of this possible. If there was no him I would give up on this mod long ago.

Thanks also to MicroWave for his help in Java programming.

I hope that you will enjoy this mod and I can already announce ShipPack 2.0. Yes, we are working on more ships and so far I can confirm that you can expect these ships and more in ShipPack 2.0.

I especially love the idea of armed transport ships. Will those cannons shoot at enemy objects? if they do, suggest to think about AA guns in 2.0. Then we'll have more realism in convoy missions.

Just let me express doubts about wrecks on pics no.1 and no.2...
While such positions are natural for sinking ship (in progress), they are not for a typical wreck, as positions are not stable. It should be very rare/unique situation, e.g. no.1 - ship run aground on rocks and her hull exposed at low tide and no.2 - symmetric port/starboad damages in aft area, or aft was completely cut out, all/most watertight compartments damaged, subsequent loss of longitudinal stability, grounded aft at shallow water.

wreck on pic 4 is good. it can represent a ship still being afloat or ship wrecked and grounded at shallow water.

Thanks for all comments and suggestions. We are aware that there will be some bugs and things that are not perfect but we wanted to release this mod anyway because our opinion was that it would be better and faster if community test this mod and give feedback.

This ships are completely new ships in game so somebody have to make missions with these ships included. Of course, you can modify any existing mission and replace one of original ships with new one.

Armament on ships is completely functional, ships will behave as any of stock ships.

I agree with Wreck No1, I think that I will rework this one, I was thinking about putting this ship deeper into water.

No2 might look overdone but I'm sure that I saw somewhere picture with wreck that looked exactly like that. It was somewhere around Guadalcanal so maybe spud knows something.

Anyway, this is not the end of Ship mods, there will be more wrecks so if you have pictures and info please post it here and I will make better wrecks than existing.

Wizard shooting...re, modding, FC and Archie! :OO I just went through the pack close-up in the FMB. Man, these are even better than the screenshots show. Fan-focking-tastic, gentlemen! I'll have to give up flying the Spit MkI and go back to the B25 strafer, especially in two weeks when the Slot gets here.

Aren't all these mods just a wonderful development for IL2 fans? What an era we're entering?
