MOD to apply destroyed objects in FMB
One thing always annoyed me with FMB. I had to spawn a PE2 with a 5,000KG bomb to fly over a combat area and drop the big bomb at very low altitude. This destroyed everything around and the PE2 as well. THis was a quick an easiest way to make an area look like it was in a war.
I always wondered why Oleg didn't give us access to the destroyed objects just like the regular objects. This would have made things so much simpler. The destroyed objects were already inside the programming files, but unaccessible to mission builders.
The IL2 battlefield is just too pristine, doesn't make sense in war.
Also, I used the FMB tool to created destoyed areas. I just don't think it carried far enough. The towns looked all burned out, but everything around them look untouched. Limiting the destruction tool just to towns wasn't enough.
That tool should have allowed us to burn out large sections of land and stuff, then with a lot of smoke and fire it would have looked like a burned out battlefield.

Most of the time you feel like you're in a Surreal world. Here you are taking off to blast the heck out of somthing and all the landscapes look manicured and groomed. Disneyland... LOL
