I may have found a freeware Lancaster 3DS Max model. I dont know if this could be used for IL-2 as I have no idea what needs to be done to put a model in the game. I also dont know how much detail the model has i.e. cockpit/bomb doors ect. Here is the link to the sight where I found it.

Its a very low resolution model and doesn't look to be accurately done.

then u need to convert them into mesh files which we still can't do.... so either way it's no use....
