Nice Shot! I love it!

By the way, I noticed you have that "black circle" around the water where your aircraft is. I have had this problem before as well and it was fixed by simply updating the drivers. If you haven't done so already, I thought that might help.

So THAT's why your shots are so clean, Batz! Confusedhock: Big Grin

Thanks a lot, AD! It can also be eliminated by adjusting the water render in the config file.

True Smile But the way I did it will improve much more on your PC other then just the game  So I recommend that more. Smile

On the other hand...

Well, yeah, AD, sometimes newer drivers DO make things better. Sometimes, though, they actually make things worse. One guy in this forum had to go back to older drivers to resolve his graphics problems. That's probably because this is a pretty old sim.

Nevertheless, let's check it out, M8. Which vid card are you using and which drivers? The reason I'm asking is that my vid card is old. It's a 6800 GS. Don't know if newer drivers would help or not as so many of the tweaks in more recent drivers address capabilities that my card doesn't have! I don't know which drivers are best for a 6800 GS and IL2 1946! Have you heard anything about that? If so, please let me know. :!:

Thanks, M8! Big Grin

Well, I don't know what drivers I have or how to find out. :? I'm not very computer smart  But I do know that I have a 7300GT running on my PC.

And I remember helping someone out with graphics settings and they had a 7600GT. And their graphics was less then mine. So i don't really know what to tell ya. Sorry m8.

AD: No problem, M8! Graphics drivers is strange critters! The newest one is 48 Mb! They need to put those things on a diet!

Pavel_RUS: Hi! That's not a mod, Pavel. That's the stock water in the sim. Open GL, Perfect mode, water at 4 in the Config file. Nvidia 6800 GS vid card. Everything maxed out on the vid card settings. It just looks so good because it's Russian water. Big Grin

GK: Sounds like a hot machine, M8! How is it working out for you? Good graphics? Post some shots! Vista, eh? You're a brave man, GK! Confusedhock:
