Since i put the recommended mods in IL2 (English Sound, AAA, and DB Mod pack)
I cannot see the inflight map coordinates on the edge of the map. I attached a link to a screenshot so you can see what the issue is.

I still have the issue when i adjust in or out of the map.. the top row of coordinates seem to be hidden under the clipboard border. Also if you look closely the clipboard doesnt overly my map perfectly.

I notice when i go to my original back up install directory the clipboard border is not there, It just shows a brown frame, so it must be an issue with one of the mods.

Does anyone have any ideas how i can fix or adjust so i can see the map coordinates?

I dont like the new map either with the widescreen mod-is there any way of getting the old map back without deleting the mod?

You could remove the map frame .tga's from the folder

YES! that works... it seems as though it was related to the wide screen mod... I removed the
following files:

PlanshetFrame.tga
Planshet.tga

located in this directory:
C:\Program Files\Ubisoft\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\MODS\ecranwide\gui\game\pad

it seems as these files overlay the standard border, so you will get the old border back but the map is a little narrower in height.. but its all readable...

Look in the mod folder (at least last version) and you will se a lot of different map textures Josse made... pick one from there and replace the default one in the active mod folder.
