Canon's WIP Building Re-Skins
#1

Thought I'd reskin a couple of objects to better suit my English Channel map.

I've reskinned Hangar1 to be a Miskin's Blister Hangar. Sadly, this model doesn't suit an alpha channel to make it an open hangar since the inside wasn't textured. So, the alpha channel makes the sides invisible when viewed from the front.

Anyway, I've also reskinned the Metal Hut to be a proper RAF Nissen hut. England doesn't need those super-shiny PAcific ones Smile

I will throw a tea bag into the tank. So I can fly faster to my home base

Managed to recreate the classic RAF open blister hangar. It's a reskinned Pacific Hangar_Med with a new alpha channel, and also modified to sit 7m below ground level.

Needs a little cleaning up but I think it's pretty convincing.

Maybe he doesn't want to see us RAF types modding his beautiful pacific hanger and turning it into a blister..

Or maybe he thinks you were illustrating what a pacific hanger looks like.. and posted his lovely hanger photo with rolling eyes to prove you got it wrong!

Crossed wires I think mate..

Been playing around some more - I'll have to find the bit of roof that's mapped to the 'porch' bit and see if I can alpha it away Smile

Judging from the photo ; the standard hanger could do with a re-skin too.
