Ok, I think I really screwed up IL2 trying to install mods.

I installed the spitfire mkI, but with 4.08m and the sound mod already having been active for a while.

Start up game, it crashes. Ok, I figure the spit came out after the 4.09 patch here, it probably needed that. Followed the instructions. Still the game crashes.

Any ideas? Did trying to install the spit on 4.08 before the 4.09 mod patch really hose things up, or is something else going on?

Using new wrapper and newest ac intaller also? also make sure when using new wrapper
that the install went in mod folder in my case some of the new planes went in files and worked after i renamed folder and put it in mods.
