Yes people, i am in the right place, i think. i have a question about the duration of the Smoke on destroyed stationary aircraft. How can i change this? I have the "smokes-Effects" map in my MOD Folder, but i also see there is a AAA Map within my MOD Folder. which one of them do i have to eddid? because it looks like there are 3 maps, all having something do do with changing smoke and stuff.

actually...it was not a fault....I made it that way....lol
because I was fed up with great big bombers (or any a/c) just touching a flimsy little net...and being instantly destroyed by it :roll:
so I used my modded net which is high enough to clear an a/c passing underneath it.....but when it is destroyed it reverts to a standard one...on the ground....BUT...this one (being the damaged one) doesn't have a collision model ...so you can pass right through it :wink:
OK I see! Thanks for the reply. I noticed that you also put other versions of Masking Nets objects, so I thought that the matter you described above was for your new objects only, not the default masking net. Anyway it can be adjusted to our liking, so that is fine.

if you ONLY want the ship AAA part of this mod......then download the whole mod....and install the ships_ini folder into your MODS folder....it contains the ships.ini file which has altered strengths for the small AA guns so that they can be destroyed by cannon/MG/bomb/rocket/torpedo
BUT...this came out before the new ships by FC...so if you just install this...then his will not work
Best to use a FREE program called WinMerge....this can load two text files in seperate panes, side-by-side and will highlight any differences between them...and allow you to copy a line from one to another
Nothing is simple with these mods....but a little work and they are worth it!
Best if you can try and understand how they work....then it becomes easier.

one question.... if i add any other building mod, be a new one from Fisneaky that is not on the ini
or a building from another moder. would that screw up everything else or just not be affected by the destruction mod while the rest would be normally affected?
