A couple of Map mods to discuss...

First, NAS Pensacola was extremely in training US Navy, and US Marine aviators. In fact, it trained them all! The scenery is beautiful, and it should be made. Maybe the area between Kenner, La, and Destin, Fl would be good to model.

From there we can fly basic training online where they were really flown, and we can land on carriers in the same spots as they really would have been. Then, we can swoop down upon U-boats in home water!

I think this can be done by a dedicated team. Here are some referrences with pictures:

The second map to discuss is Chicago, where many Naval aviators landed on a carrier for the first time. The Great Lakes is still the home of USN basic training. It's history dates far back and the USS Sable was one of the mose unique a/c carriers, being small and powered by a paddlewheel!
