I have been looking at the gear problem and as already suggested i think the buffalo is a suitable donor as it has the right number of moving parts. it will need alot of tweaking though, the gear will need to be reversed (right gear used on cuda's left side etc) and the solid portion shortened, it will also need a change in angle between it and the oleo section, the oleo section will then need to be twisted through 180 degrees to get the wheel on the outside again, someone said the oleo/wheel/door was spitfire shaped and i agree so mayb graft a spitfire oleo on? that then leaves the little linkages that can be stuck on the wing in the correct place. any questions?!

right, airbrakes now, dont know if its been suggested but use a bit of the code from the sbd as it already has airbrakes that move up, as the flaps/divebreaks move in both directions on the cuda we would need to combine the codes to get the same piece of the model to move in both directions

...I am a 'purist' by inclination, but also a realist. Installing this Barracuda would be optional. I think it would be a pity to lose the friendly, laissez faire approach AAA has adopted until now towards modding - and there's nothing to stop someone else producing a better Barracuda in future, if that becomes possible.

If a 3d converter... if and when... that's exactly the point...

laissez faire? really? you a pilot by chance? You seem to know the subject of human performance and limitations

and +1 on the nothing to stop a better and improved barra later, but until we actually have a working 3d converter I say F*ck you in the general direction of the people telling us to step down

yeah .... we should withdraw whole bunch of stock planes too... cos of failed authenticity ....not to mention all the stock maps that are clearly geographically incorrect ....

god bless sg Wasy for authentic sounds cos we would have to play in mute mod because stock sounds also fails tests of authenticity

and in the end all flying over 3000m should be banned cos stock FM is clearly wrong for high altitudes

getting my drift ?

Z
p.s. where did you guys learn that 3d converter is imminent ?
