Lybia NE

Ahhh probably got you all excited then....................
I was hoping for the same when I looked through the campaigns.
What I was going to ask is anyone doing one? or can someone do me one? Please!!
I particularly want one where my son and I can play as a leader and a wingman. Would prefer
to be in 109s or p-40s, but the chance to fly over this BRILLIANT map with more of a purpose
would be great for both of us. I have made missions for us but of course, I always know what is going on.

Thanks for looking Big Grin

I'm working on one. starts with 57th all the way to Tunisia. Then we will have transfer to the Fighter -Bomber Squadron(58th? I think, forgot now), which moves from Tunisia to Italy and propably ends at Naples as the map ends thenSmile It is daily accounts, so be prepared for at least minimun 300 missions!!!

Thought I might try and revamp this idea, any chance of someone doing a campaign using the excellent Lybia map only. Tobruk and all that for DCG I mean a dynamic one, please please please.
I look at how to do it in the threads and am trying to learn, honest, but at my age it is hard. Please help if you can..

Thanks

Hey Eddie, from reading the book "Air-to-Ground Battle for Italy" by Michael C. McCarthy (Brigadier General USAF. Retired) (*), it stayed the 57th through the Italy campaign too. This might give you some inspiration, reading a few pages before lights-out. Wink

(*)Click the download option behind the "order no.B-94" option. Page 33 (page nr. 50 of the PDF) shows a map of the bases they used and the dates they were there. McCarthy flew in the 64th Fighter Squadron "Black Scorpions". Pages in the 30-44 (47-61 PDF numbering) are photo pages.

[EDIT]Sorry, didn't notice this was a bump of an old post, but it's still good material. Smile
