Great idea!

Perhaps you might consider extending this at some point to cover squadrons associated with other aircraft. I'm thinking particularly of the Typhoon/Tempest, Mosquito and Beaufighter (I believe there is not a single squadron in IL2's existing directory that flew Beaufighters in Europe).

....another bump...

was something sent to Mr J ?

With the new BoB map coming soon, some BoB RAF content might be nice Big Grin

Looks superb...gimme...gimme.....gimmme....(please!) One small niggle, why does the fuselage roundel get cut off at the point where it joins the wing root?

Any chance I could test this Beta out too? Smile

This is superb.. Looks great on some of the early DAF fighter for North Africa as well.. I'm so impressed!.
As to the tiny, tiny portion of the fuselage roundel missing .. (Remember this mod only deals with the code letters, not the roundels on whatever skin you are using..)

Charlie, as Trooper says, its the skin not the mod.
In the pack are several skins with roundels of varying sizes and positions.
On the Hurricane there is not a problem, but on the Spit...................................
(Feel free to correct them if you want)

Ah, I see-so it it could actually be 'drawn in' with Photoshop etc? Thanks for explaining Smile
As this has been tested, is it now ready to be released?

Charlie, it 'could' be drawn, however with the position required it would be nigh on impossible to shape it as a roundel due to stretching

It can be done... Rather easily too.

All the bit after the wing root WOULD have been cut off.

Would have been nice if Paul Rogers of BDG { Bader} had a mention in the credits..it was all his work on the codes and skins for WOV, that this is based / utilised

Hopefully he will be in the final version.
Hi Kev didnt know you were over here too. have you checked out Jamie's skins for 602 squadron? All it needs now is for someone to start a virtual 602SQN (hint)
