Hello folks, after just having to do a fresh install, and having read so many posts regarding the subject I really think now that the install process is so complicated with so many excellent mods
(great work to all involved with these, you all deserve a medal!!) we do need some sort of combined install for those of us who *%&## it up.
My problem started when I tried to install the dive sound mod....loading would go to 60% and fail.
Up to this point I had most of the mods working with no problem, the brilliant new a/c spitfire blenheim bf110g-4 beaufighter, the excellent new maps of Malta (mrz...fantastic work, a dream come true) and the others (sorry dint get much chance to try them before my problems started).
When I tried the new install, following the beginers guide, the dive sounds again caused the problem.
So if anyone can help with this, thanks in advance, also could someone please post what we are supposed to do with the 'files' folder and filelist and at what stage of the install.

I had the same problem after a new install. Everything was working fine until I installed the Dive sounds for .93v. The game would load and when it got to 60% it would crash. I tried V2 and V2.2 and got the same crash at 60%. Instead of reinstalling everything again without the Dive sounds I tried reinstalling AC Installer 2.5 and that fixed my problem. I would still like to know what the problem was.

Thanks for replying to this, glad to know it wasnt just me that had the problem.
Thankfully I have fixed mine too now.
