Why would you want to turn off the recticles? If you really want to turn off the bombsight crosshairs just shake the bomber around a bit and the gyros will become unstable and then they wont stabilize for a minute or so.

I think this is not what is being asked.Some time ago there was a thread asking if it would be possible to turn the gunsight recticle on and off as in real life.I don't think it has been done yet.

Man, some people just love to miss the point. What you say is like someone would ask for a realistic stall in a flight sim and you would say... why would you want to lose control of the aircraft? However, if you really do want that... why don't you unplug the Joystick... :roll:

To make it clearer... I dont want to turn them off... I want them to be off, then to be able to turn them on when I need them... like in the real thing. Like... the engine for example .

The ability to turn the illuminated reticle gunsight off and on would be nice as would be the ability to select which guns will be fired with a press of the trigger. European Air War did allow for selection of which guns the player would use. Such a mod would allow someone in a fighter with six machine guns to use four during combat and reserve two for the egress when the four primary guns run dry.

what about check the HE-111 bombsight may be there is the key to turn on and off gunsights, remember when you bank your plane more that 5 degrees the bombsight turns off, may be this could be added to the fighters but using a button.

Well being a real pilot I would hope the plane actually stalls otherwise that would be a major issue with the game. Anyways good luck with all that.

I asked for manual bomb bay doors like nearly half a year ago and hellzone said it was possible with java work and stuff. A lot has changed since then so hopefully without much difficulty at least the main bombers can have bomb bay doors as manual...

Mmm.. 'end of discussion' sounds final.. Fair enough, but there are many people on here that fly real planes, myself included, so I was asking why there was a relevence to it in your post, pretty simple and straight forward question..
