Hi To all!

Thanks to all for your feedbacks, As you know there are 3 different effect files for bullet trail effect, i have changed 2 of them the 3rd one (corkscrew) is not changed. Now i updated my mod and add small changes both in textur file and effect file too, I noticed that som aircrfts like Fiat G.50, Fiat CR.42 and Italian MC.200- MC.205 sreies and some russian aircrafts and... use another effect file, now it is fixed too.
This mod will change original white and gray straight bullet trail effect to curving bullet trail effect.
it may effect other trail effcts from some AA guns too.
*Remember that this will not add new trail effect to other aircrafts that miss the trail effect originally.
Just extract to your MODS folder.

Seriously, this is a good mod...

If you have every looked at WW2 guncam reels, you will notice that smoke tracer really do have a shakey spiral smokey efftect, such as this one... very authentic...

Btw, I don't how far are you open to critics, but here's what I think:
the mod you made is nice, but here's what I think to make it absolutely nice: these trails you made look more like smoke, not MG firing trails...
Or they, at least, may be good but for 37mm cannons... The true trails should be much more spiralled on their way... Look at these gun cam films I found for you:

I hope they'll help you to improve your mod. Btw, the Bf-109F-2 in game arms firing has the nice spiralled trails, IMHO the best and most natural looking of all planes in game... Is that possible to make something like these? :wink:

Thank you too that you like my mods, my intention is with small mods eliminate some defects and make this sim better, you know that it is not real life its only simulation, the bullet effect in in il2 contains of two patrs on bullet or tracer part (with different colours) and one smoke part (Trail) and some palnes misses trail part in this sim why? ask oleg
I'm sorry to say that you can't modify bullet part, its against site rules and i have no knowladge of programing (so bullets will go straight as they do in real life). In guncam films, i think what you see and ask is because of camera shaking and you see the bullets like flying snakes!! hock:
In my mod i only changed the texture file for trail part and one variable (segmentlength) in effect file to make it better, also as you know the actual bullet trail effect in il2 seems also like smoke!! because its only a simulation i think the best solution is to compromise.
