sounds like your J/stick is not calibrated to the game or your J/stick internals are failing.

I confirmed that the joystick was working right, first; but thanks for the suggestion.

Turns out the problem was fuel weight. I normally fly with 25%, as does my buddy. But I recently had to reinstall IL2, and forgot to to look at and reset fuel load.

Gross weight does make a difference! Dump truck vs sports car.
