Big Grin It"s quite normal Canon , it's a great Job.. i'm actually writting the translation in english (hope i's up in one hour) .. sorry it's not oxford english .. but can healp non french reading
Lot of work.. and seem lot of work to do .. it's a beta..

I've seen very nice thing London is great.. Cliff seem good assuming IL2 limitation
Maybe more life in coutnryside.. more road village trees.. But it's hard to populate a map and keep a good performance..

I really enjoy this work and i will review the future modifications and other works.. from mods maker.. Interest for mod is growing in french user.. and many don't speak or read enough english.. sot if we can help to promote modders work.. we will try ..

@Melatron.. We are not official.. only fans.. with a nice website.. Official never recognize anythinfg except if they can make money.. Big Grin

We don't make money.. i must ask visitors to doante via paypal to mainain site.. as AAA

As you clearly recognise, it's difficult to populate areas and maintain good performance. The map is primarily designed for online/low-end PC usage, but the final may have a few more villages/towns in it.

I'm pleased you focused on the airfields. I've put hours of original research into them, spending hours searching through WW2 aerial photographs/archives to accurately portray them. They're modelled as they appeared in WW2, down to the finest detail Smile

I know it's not easy, i'm mission maker for my ssaud, and we dont like airfield or target with only two obejects.. so it's hard to make a balance between realism and FPS..

I always regret thaht FMB of IL2 can't let mission builder create airfield.. .. elevation of terrain is a problem i know..

Also a pity since pacific fighter its hard to begin from dispersal or taxyway.. We enjoy with my squad long roll from parking, before take off.. quite immersive.. we can make it now but it's clearly most difficult..

Your map is really good.. all is not perfect..

As said the arifield are realistic.. and i will enjoy to make scramble mission on theses grassfield..
I will add some little things.. when i do a mission template i will post some screen shots..

I've see you work sometimes wit R-ONE .. it"s an old friend, ha was in my squad few uears ago..
I was thinking some of is work for hangar V2 will me very good on you arifields..

Thank's foryou work.. I will review many mods and your mod ..

The final version of the map will feature many of R1's hangars - they've been specially skinned for this map Smile

Canonuk, you've done a great job with this map. Airfields are some of the best I've seen. Thanx!
