Hey all,
As much as I have tried, I could not get my background.tga file I created to work! I checked the info and it nearly matches the one provided in the Splash screen Mod accept the kb file size.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but are we supposed to update the Microsoft Access table when we add in ours? Oh and before you say it, YES I made sure I placed the ones provided in the Mod in the correct place and it works when I use the background.tga file that came with it. But no dice when I replace it with my own.

Please don't tell me I have to sacrifice a Mac Puter to get it to work coz I don't have one!

Any help would be much appreciated!

Hi,

The first thing I can think of is - when creating a TGA file for IL-2, it must be without compression.

Compressed TGA files will not load.

That did it!! One little itsy-bitsy thingy can really test your patience! Thanks for responding and helping me out!

I think the person who made the Mod should remind others to save their work uncompressed so it will work as you suggested.
