I'm sure that I've either mistakenly disabled or accidentally deleted the FMB maps in my il-2.Can they be reactivated via the games root files.I've looked for FMB Maps in the games files but can't find them anywhere.Maybe someone could post a copy of their FMB Maps and tell me how I can copy them back into the sim,if thats possible.I'm really hoping that I don't have to do yet another reinstall to fix this as it takes forever .I just do not know what I've done.

Did you try what fly_zo suggested here?

Open your mapmods folder, select maps and look for a file labelled "all" under the last map folder.

Open it, anything there?

If so try fly_zos' other suggestion as quoted from the other thread below:
"do check if you have only one all.ini file in mods folder .... located in : MODS\MAPMODS\Maps\ all.ini

also check your bldconf.ini ( game root) if it has all lines :

If your all ini file is empty or you think it is messed up, highlight everything below till you get to and include: "WinterFinsGulf FinsGulf/load_w.ini", right click it, select Copy and then select "all" in the Maps Folder, OPEN IT, RIGHT CLICK, SELECT "PASTE AND IT WILL PUT WHAT YOU HIGHLIGHTED INTO THE "all" FILE

Please reply if it works or not, you did not add any reply to fly_zos' attempt to help but opened this topic with the same question so no one knows what worked or not or even if you tried his solution.

Hi,
Sorry about the no reply,was'nt trying to be rude.

Have checked all of the things that were suggested and everything looks ok,still no different though.When I click on FMB either from QMB Plus or the FMB switch in the main menu and move the mouse onto "Load Map" all that happens is the load map is highlighted in blue.No map list appears automatically like before,I've tried double clicking ,right clicking but still nothing just a blue screen and the menu at the top.Load mission still works but when you go to play the mission nothing happens again.I pressume this is because the game can't load the FMB Map needed.

Getting a little dispondent now and almost resigned to the fact of having to reinstall the whole bloody game from scratch again,mods,addons ,skins,time,time,time,bla,bla,bla.

I really don't have a clue on what I've done, but I really am hoping for an answer.

ceege1, too bad nothing is working.

I would suggest that you copy and paste the fly_zo option and my all ini option.
Sometimes we look at a file and it looks OK but there is so much there we miss an error.
It cannot hurt and might help.

Have you tried to install any map packs from this site, just to see if they will show in the FMB?
It should, at least, prove if the FMB is beyond repair or totally messed up somehow.

I have no knowledge of what is where in the game files regarding the FMB and am of little help and maybe a reinstall is your best option
