the sounds that were added to the b-17 the movie can only be described with one word: badass.

Would there be anyway to create a sound mod like this?!

i cant believe i hadn't thought of this before. I have sounds from inside a B-24 and B-17 from videos I have recorded while going up on flights. Im sure i can extract the sounds and send them to somebody if those would be of any interest to anyone.

If its ok, with you all, send me the sounds as well. I have been learning how to modify the sound files and was planning on moding the awful (my opinion) B17 sounds.

BTW: They are currently the Pratt-Whitney sound files, right?

Also, while I am thinking of it, How do you link a certain aircraft to a certain sound file? I know some of the work is done in the preset files, but what directs the plan to the proper preset?

thanks for those files, sound top quality. Does any one know a program or method of extracting the sounds from videos? I have used youtube downloader then opened them with VirtualDub to remover them but Vdub is having problems opening them.

Also, once i have gathered as many files as i can i will upload them if you wish

Did the following
Downloaded Youtube video with You Tube Downloader
Then Converted it with FLV to AVI MPEG WMV 3GP MP4 iPod Converter to a DIVX movie with 44100 sample and full quality.
Then opened it with Virtual Dub and then saved the sound as a wav and i have now got what i needed. from http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-kXfIGe5I8Y
