Hello Every one

I just signed up to get some single player enhancements.

I have already updated my 1946 to 4.09 and see the mods here are for 4.08. Do I need to revert back to 4.08 or reinstall the game in order to use most of the mods here?

Is there a difference between the 4.09 Mod Patch here and the 4.09 patch released by the game developer; because they didn't call it a mod patch.

Actually almost all of the mods for 4.08 work with 4.09.
Almost all of the mods for 4.09, particularly maps, do not work with 4.08.
You are better off using 4.09- just make sure to install the modded version of the 4.09 patch found here.

I gotcha. The 4.09 Mod Pack goes over 4.09 patched 1946. Great as I was about to install 4.09 mod pack over a new installation of 4.08m. I see the wrapper is also included.

The thing is that I see the heading for 4.08 Mods but no heading for 4.09 Mods in the main page of threads catagories. This makes it appear as there are only 4.08 mods officially released and tested.

BTW , install 4.09b1m game version ( mod friendly variation of 4.09b) and get mod switcher so you can switch between both moddable game versions (4.08 and 4.09b1m)

there are lots of official AAA map mods working only on 4.09b1m version ....
