Cant see them in the main IL2 folder. Is it possible to alter the path they take?
How do you take screenshots any way?
Or, keep it the old fashioned way.
Get your screenshot by pressing Print Screen (PrtSc), then go to MS Paint, click on edit and then past OR use Ctrl + V. Then save.
There be your screenshot.
Other option is to use a tool such as FRAPS and that saves the image pre-done in .bmp or .jpg in a destination directory.
Thanks Magpie, FRAPS works a treat. Will be uploading a screenshot shortly.
Cheers
as in taking a picture with your camera or something built in the game? I'd like too know because i have a TBM-3 and avenger MK.III waiting to be posted remember right? And what about that whole Mac's Remove White plugin tool?
If you tap the print screen key while in game ( preferably external view) then a snap shot of the screen is taken. It should be in the iL2 root folder but apparently mine wasn't. as magpie suggested FRAPS is a great tool for managing these screenshots. Type into Google and follow the first link.
Mac's remove white is a handy tool to make any void into a basic template and starting point. It removes all the white from the void and leaves you with a transparent layer with all the detail on. I use it in Photoshop, I dont know if it is compatible with any other program. After using it you insert a white background below that layer and then you can see it properly to begin working on it.
yeah nevermid kinda figured it out myself. I use GIMP Now and made some "actual skins" with it. thanks for all your help and I still need help with the screenshot thing. and yes there is a white remover with The GIMP.
Sturmguy pm me and i will try to help you through screenshots mate
