My Il2 Manager says Effects = 3

I hadnt check the config.ini yet.
Will their be a lot of disavantage in graphics when I go to effects 1 or 2 ?

effects=2 in conf.ini (or 3 in IL2 manager) is really fps killer I use effect=1 (or 2 in IL2 manager) and I dont see any big "disavantage in graphics".

since the first smoke mod for ground targets came out its nearly impossible to me to attack ground targets, every burning wreck slows down the pc

It was there before my mod. You just couldn't see it i believe.... Nothing i edited would cause it to do that i'm sure of it...

From what i have seen, it looks like the original makers got lazy during the B-24 and P-38, and put the hooks for the contrail effect in the wrong place...

Thank you for making this mod, it greatly enhances the immersion factor IMHO. I've personally havent had any pronounced performance problems (Core2Duo 6300 @ 1.89Ghz, 2GB DDR2-533, Geforce 7600GT GoldenSample) - working like a dream here with up to 150fps (avg at around 80-90)
