IMHO I do think the animation of the flames is a little too fast...perhaps it could be slowed down somewhat....

Thanks, if you want to decrease the animation rate just open Fire.txl (make a backup before changes!) in my mod and increase the Time value and decrease the FPS value/values( play a little with them and test) until you get the values that make you satisfied.

You have to do something wrong and i don't know what? does it works with other maps? if yes i don't know what your problem could be?
I tested with 250kg bombs and it worked fine in slovakia map

edit - sorry I was install in exist effect folder ..its bad ... now is ok ;-)
Is there a way to install the Explosion Effect separately? (haven't downloaded yet)

Yes, after dowload and extraction in my mod folder( VAS_Bomb_Expl + Fire v1.0) find
Objects folder, delete it
or put - (minus sign) in front of it .
In Materials folder keep
dirt_spray_large3.mat and
dirt_spray_large3.tga delete the rest files, or let them be left there, when you put - in front of Objects folder these files (the rest files inside Materials folder) has no effect anymore.

Just a couple of quick questions, i have been having a play around with the colours following your advice earlier, and was wondering about the following.
1. whats the difference between _BaseBoiling.eff and _BaseBoiling2.eff
2.Whats the difference between colour 0 and colour 1
3. How could i get the bomb explosion smoke to last longer.

I am sure I did something Silly here but I can't get this to work
I extracted the Effects Folder into my mods, However found out there was already an Effects Folder in my Mods Folder.
I went ahead and extracted it to my Mods anyway and let the folders combine, I figured it would still work.
Is this what I did Wrong?
If So is it ok for me to Rename the Effects folder from this Mod and called it like BombEffects before I put it in my Mods folder. Would it still work after being Renamed?

Very strange
hock: inside the zip file there is "
VAS_Bomb_Expl + Fire v1.0" and you have to put
THIS folder inside your mods folder.
yes, you can call it whatever you want.
