oh believe me leigh, i can completely understand the challenges involved in making a new plane. personally, i enjoy the stories of PBM's going out at night to attack the IJN along with PBY Blackcats. Out hunting the Japs, 1 vs 100... that kinda stuff.

and the Mariner is so damn ugly its dead sexy.
