COCKPIT VIEW Hawk 75
#1

Hello,

Here is my gunsight view with the Curtiss Hawk-75 A3:

As you can see it does not look correct behind the gunsight: the nose is the one from the P-40. On another PC with another install, I was surprised to see that the view was correct, the nose was really the nose of the A3, with its two machine gun bulges on the sides.

The external view is fine, no pb.

I am either missing a file, or I have conflicting mods. Does anyone know how to fix this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Vincent

P.S.: if I could post a screenshot of the correct view, I would, but I have no longer access to the PC with the right install now...

OK, I found the solution: put the hier.him file of SG Wasy for the P-40B in the 3DO/Cockpit/P-40B folder... Sorry guys to have bothered you.

dFrog: please PM me your e-mail address, about the reticle (BTW it is correct only for some French Hawks).

Problem solved, thanks to Wasy's mod, as you said fly_zo:

The reticle is meant to be a French designed reticle, the Baille-Lemaire GH38, which was used during the Battle of France (not suitable for British, American, or Finnish Hawks).

Hello vtrelut Big Grin

I have the same problem, but I can not understand how you've solved, you could be a little more specific, please

It would be nice if someone could just repaint the front of the plane from inside so it didnt look like an inline nose on a rotary aircraft..

@Berserker: To change the appearance of the nose of Hawck75, simply copy the folder 3DO (contained in ENG_Sound_mod_Version_092.rar or _091.rar) into the folder .. \ IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 \ Files.

I tried it, and the problem is solved for Hawk, but this appears in the P-40B Cry

As solves this please?

I know about this problem. I guess that at the moment, the only solution is to put an "-" in front of the name of the P-40B folder in 3DO/Cockpit when you fly the P-40B/C, and then to rename it back to P-40B when you fly the Hawk...

Unless Wasy comes back on this?
